Britt Ashley is a writer, editor, and content strategist with 10+ years combined experience working in rigorous, fast-paced environments in the fields of literary publishing, feminist media, and e-commerce marketing. Britt has served as Editor-in-Chief of Indiana Review; as Managing Editor of Bitch Media; as Editor-in-Chief of Bitch Magazine; and as a Consulting Editor at Copper Canyon Press.

She is a queer femme from Texas who makes poems and biscuits. Her writing and artwork has appeared in Tammy Journal, Southern Indiana Review, The Pinch, cream city review, juked, Winter Tangerine Review, The Offing, and elsewhere.

Britt has studied English and Creative Writing at the University of Missouri-Columbia (BA), Western Washington University (MA), and Indiana University (MFA).  She has taught courses in composition, creative writing, literature, and publishing at Western Washington University, Indiana University, The Monroe County Correctional Center, Thames International College in Kathmandu, Bent Queer Writing Institute in Seattle, and Portland Public Schools.
